Founded in 1950, the Business School, Renmin University of China (RMBS) is the first business school to offer an MBA in China and is renowned as the Cradle of China’s Business Education. It is one of the few business schools in China accredited by both AACSB and EQUIS. In 2013, the School’s Business Administration discipline ranked No. 1 in the national assessment by the Ministry of Education, based on the quality of faculty, research, alumni, and overall reputation.
The International MBA (IMBA) program boasts award-winning faculty with expertise in Chinese and international business practices, reflecting the School’s mission of “China Root, Global Reach”. We aim to develop global leaders who make optimized business decisions based upon technical foundations, a socially responsible perspective and management practice. The IMBA curriculum is carefully crafted to offer a practical approach to training in management practices.
Students are invited to participate in specialized programs to enhance their connection to industry and develop as future management leaders. These include the RMBS MBA/Yale MAM Concurrent Degree, the Inspiration track with classes at major corporations, the Global Network Week Study Exchange programs with schools such as IE, MIT and Yale, the Team Action Program consultancy training program, the MBA Business Mentor Program, internships, international exchanges and a rich array of other extra-curricular activities.
