Founded in 1950, the Business School, Renmin University of China (RMBS) is the first business school to offer MBA in China and is renowned as the cradle of China’s business education. It is one of the few business schools in China accredited by both AACSB and EQUIS. In 2017, RMBS was rated as one of the A+ (the highest level) business schools and the School’s business administration discipline was rated A+ by the Ministry of Education in the latest round of the National Academic Assessment, to be one of the only four ranked this high in China.

Students are invited to participate in specialized programs to enhance their connection to industry and develop as future management leaders. These include the RMBS MBA/Yale MAM Concurrent Degree, the management integration practicums with classes at major corporations, the Global Network Week study exchange programs with schools such as IE, MIT and Yale, the Team Action Program consultancy training program, the MBA Practical Ability Promotion Program, internships and a rich array of other extra-curricular activities.

The International MBA (IMBA) program boasts award-winning faculty with expertise in Chinese and international business practices, reflecting the School’s mission of “to contribute Chinese management wisdom and global leadership talents to the world.” We aim to educate inclusive leaders who make the best business decisions based upon technical foundations, a socially responsible perspective and most suitable management practice. The IMBA curriculum is carefully crafted to offer a practical approach to training our students in management practices.

RMBS welcomes students with diverse backgrounds looking to move to the next stage of their global career.
