Session Summary

===============

Whether you will be working in a products or services company, continued growth in globalized and connected world demands continuous innovation in most organizations. Our focus will be to help you develop your creative confidence through step by step approach so you become comfortable confronting complex problems and ambiguous situations and convert them into opportunity space for creating innovative products and service solutions.

You will be exposed to the innovation methods and tools that are being used in a wide range of organizational settings from P&G, Apple, Pepsi, and even governments and non-profit organizations. One thing common among the methods is the human-centeredness and the design attitude embedded in them which is why they are now widely referred to as Design Thinking Methods.

Design thinking has its roots decades ago in the work of scholars like Herbert Simon (Nobel Laureate) but has recently become one of important topics in the field of Management Innovation thanks to pioneering work at Carnegie Mellon, Temple University, Case Western and Stanford Universities. In addition, many innovation consulting firms like IDEO and Frog Design use several of the same methods to help their global Fortune 1000 clients. The recent cover story of Sep 2015 Harvard Business Review is about Design Thinking and how global organizations are embracing it to make their organizations more innovative. These design methods are also now being actively used by hundreds of non-profit organizations (Including Bill Gates Foundation) to fight poverty, hunger, housing and healthcare challenges. It is one of the fastest growing consulting areas for many top global consulting firms.
