History of Our MBA

1986
Collaborated with McGill University to offer an MBA program to Chinese students for the first time.

1993
The first group of 39 MBA students in China graduated from RMBS.

2007
Held the Eighth China MBA Development Forum in the Great Hall.

2009
Launched the IMBA Program. RMBS revamped the MBA program with the SAIL curriculum plan. Launched the MBA Business Mentorship Program.

2012
One of the founding members of the Global Network for Advanced Management launched by School of Management, Yale University. RMBS sent MBA students to Masters of Advanced Management Program in Yale SOM.
RMBS and SUNY-Buffalo launched dual MBA degree. -
2016
The MBA program placed 43rd on the Financial Times ranking.
Launched a double degree MBA program with RSM, Erasmus University. -
2018
The MBA program placed 39th on the Financial Times ranking for Global MBAs.
Launched a double degree MBA program with the Michigan State University, a dual degree MBA program with the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College The City University of New York, a double degree MBA program with the Singapore Management University and a dual degree IMBA program with ESCP Europe. -
2020
MBA 30th Anniversary

1983
Collaborated with McGill and three other universities in Canada to offer MBA summer classes, which provided RUC with a number of new young teachers.

1990
RMBS was one of the first 9 schools in China to offer its own MBA program.

2005
Held the largest MBA alumni reunion in China since the program was initiated.

2008
Began hiring professionals as lecturers for MBA elective courses and seminars.

2010
Held the 20th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony of the MBA program.

2013
One of five host schools in the Global Network weeks with over 6,000 MBA graduates over the past 23 years.

Launched a double degree MBA program with Hitotsubashi University.
Continued the RMBS-Yale Concurrent program, launched a double degree IMBA program with the National University of Singapore, a dual degree MBA program with Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison -
2019
Conducted the “5I” lnclusive Leadership MBA Curriculum- Integration, Innovation, Interconnection, Interdiscipline and Investing value.
