Financing Your MBA

The tuition for IMBA students for 2024 intake is 178,000 RMB. IMBA is a two-year full time program and the tuition fee is paid on an annual basis. We provide financial aids of various types to IMBA students, including merit-based scholarships, GMAT scholarships, International Study Reimbursement subsidy, and RMBS MBA/Yale MAM Concurrent Degree Scholarship.

  • IMBA Program Merit-based Scholarships (must fill out scholarship application form)

    1. Full and Half-tuition Scholarships are awarded to individuals with outstanding academic and work experiences in addition to a competitive GMAT or GRE score.

    2. Partial-tuition Scholarships are awarded to those with outstanding academic performances (GMAT or GRE threshold score is also required) but maybe lacking in work experiences.

    3. For RMBS IMBA scholarship, in accordance with the University’s finance regulations and procedures, recipients of IMBA scholarship will need to first pay their tuition for the year. Once scholarships are announced to be granted to a student, the scholarship will be paid to the student during the following Spring semester on an annual basis. The actual payment of most scholarships are contingent on a good academic standing in the program.

    4. All kinds of scholarship winners will need to attend the mid-term scholarship review, conducted in the first Spring semester around April, to determine if they are (still) qualified to receive/apply for the scholarship for the second year of the IMBA program.

    · Application Procedures

    For CSC scholarship application, please check the eligibility criteria and download the Scholarship Application Guide for International Students here and fill out the CSC Scholarship Application Form. For other scholarships, please fill out the IMBA Scholarship Form. And then,
    Step 1: Hand in the scholarship application form with the rest of application materials to imba@rmbs.ruc.edu.cn.
    Step 2: Wait for results to be announced by the CSC and/or IMBA Office Pre-enrolled candidates and first year students are notified in due time about the scholarship application procedures and results. For further information, please contact imba@rmbs.ruc.edu.cn or 010-62514665.

  • MBA GMAT Scholarships

    1. Accepted students with GMAT scores of 630-669, 670-709 and 710 and above will be automatically awarded 10,000 RMB, 20,000 RMB and 30,000 RMB respectively toward IMBA tuition at RMBS. CSC scholarship winners or RUC/RMBS Full Scholarship recipients are not eligible for the GMAT scholarships.

    2. Rewards will be granted after the candidate enrolls in the program.

  • RMBS MBA/Yale MAM Concurrent Degree Scholarship (accepted students only)

    a) can receive a study scholarship from RMBS.
    b) can receive an entrance scholarship offer from Yale SOM.
